2017 CTE Survey

May 18, 2017

This letter requests your participation in the evaluation process of our Career and Technology Education (CTE) programs. This process consists of participation by students, parents, teachers, and community members for each program area offered at the middle school and high school levels. Since your child is enrolled in a CTE course this semester, you are encouraged to participate in this evaluation process.

Region XIII Education Service Center in Austin developed an easy-to-use, online evaluation for our district’s CTE programs. You will be able to access the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2S72CK2

If your child is enrolled in more than one CTE course, you may submit an evaluation for each CTE course. If you have more than one child, you may submit an evaluation for each CTE course in which your children are enrolled. Attached is a list of CTE courses.

Please base your survey responses on your interactions with the CTE teacher(s) or comments your child has made to you about the specific CTE course(s). Your participation in this survey will help our district continue to strengthen CTE programs and courses for your child.

Thank you in advance for participating in this online evaluation process. The parent-school partnership is critical to student success as we continue to provide quality learning experiences for all students. If you have questions, please contact David Edwards at 512-237-2487 x 7270.

Sincerely,

David Edwards
