Update on Hidden Pines Fire routes 10/19/15 at 6:30pm

A message from SMITHVILLE IND SCHOOL DIST
SISD releases additional information regarding transportation for students displaced by the fire.
Campuses remain open and on regular schedules for the week.
The following locations are alternate pick-up/drop-off sites for SISD students affected by the Hidden Pines fire until further notice:

Bus #10 Route

Home Depot 6:30am 4:45pm
Wal-Mart 6:40am 4:35pm
Bucees 6:50am 4:25pm
Exxon Tiger Tote 7:00am 4:15pm
Starting Tuesday morning, October 20, 2015:
• Bus #17 (Seal bus) will run its normal route and will pick-up/drop-off students on Ann Powell and KLBJ Road.
• Bus #2 (Tiger bus) will run its normal route and will pick-up/drop-off students at Hidden Bluff, Way Station, Toad Hollow Fishers of Men, Forest Village, and Kays Café.
o Bus #2 (Tiger bus) will also pick-up/drop-off at the following locations and times:

Friend’s Store (AKA Duke’s) 6:55am 4:15pm
Cottletown Road @HWY 71 (Alum Creek Cemetery) 7:05am 4:10pm
Rock Shop (Kellar Rd) 7:10am 4:00pm
Parents and guardians of children requiring transportation due to being displaced by the Hidden Pines fire are encouraged to contact the SISD Administration Office at 512-237-2487.
Smithville ISD will continue to provide updates as information changes.

Smithville ISD Fire Update
(October 16, 2015 2:30pm) SISD releases new information regarding transportation for students displaced by the fire.
All previous plans for transportation in the burn areas remain in effect. Campuses remain open and on regular schedules for next week.

High School Book Fair

ACT Information

SHS will be offering the ACT on Saturday, Oct. 24th for Half Price.
Students must register by September 18th.

Students who qualify free and/or reduced lunch at SHS will receive waivers for free ACT testing.
