Hello Tigers!
My name is Lee Hartsell and I am the new assistant principal at SHS. I received my undergraduate and masters degrees from Angelo State University, and my Principal Certification from Lamar University. My career in education has spanned over 15 years and I have served in various teaching and administration roles.
My wife Amanda and I have a one-year-old daughter, Brooke, and a 10-year-old Yorkie, Presley. I enjoy spending time with family, hunting, fishing, and golfing.
As an assistant principal, my goals are to develop meaningful relationships with students and staff, help develop Smithville HS into an "A" campus, ensure students are successful in their postsecondary endeavors, and create a positive culture throughout the campus and community. I look forward to working with you and your children.
