Tiger Cheer is headed to UCA Camp at The University of Texas! 🧡🖤📣
We’re excited to kick off an incredible week of learning, growing, and making memories together as a team!
This camp is especially meaningful as it marks the final UCA Camp for our four seniors. We’re looking forward to making this week one they’ll never forget as they close out this chapter of their cheer journey.
This year’s leadership team—Captain Kenzly White, Co-Captain Ella Hancock, and Social Officer Brittney Collins—will be participating in UCA’s leadership classes, where they’ll continue developing the skills they’ll use to lead and serve our team throughout the year.
We’re proud to represent Smithville High School and can’t wait to bring home new skills, stronger leadership, and even more Tiger spirit.
Go Tigers! 🧡🐅 #TigerCheer #UCACamp #SHSTigerCheer #GoTigers

Mr. Erickson will be joining SHS as the Culinary Arts teacher. He has 17 years in public education, as well as 10 years teaching college and private culinary schools like Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and the Young Chefs Academy. He believes food and learning how to cook is the foundation of society and communities as everyone must eat, feed others, understand nutrition, and respect where there food comes from. We are incredibly excited to have him join our staff!
Please help us welcome Mr. Erickson!
