Hello Tiger Families!
As the weekend approaches, we’re closely monitoring the upcoming winter weather. The safety of our staff and students is our top priority. In the event of inclement weather conditions, we will make a decision about school resuming on Tuesday no later than 5pm on Monday (1/20). Notices will be sent out via email, phone call, text, and will be posted on our website and social media.
Stay safe, warm, and enjoy the weekend!
This is a reminder that Smithville ISD will be closed on Monday, January 20th, in observance of MLK Day. Have a great weekend!

She will be performing with the All State Symphonic Band in San Antonio on Saturday, February 15th at 10:30am at the 2,200 seat Lila Cockrell Theatre. This concert is open to the public and Smithville residents are more than welcome to come see her perform! We are very proud of all 14 students who went to audition for the All State Band this Saturday. Our 8th graders got a sneak peak at what to expect when they enter High School next year!
Students and staff representing our Career & Technical Education (CTE) pathways met with students and shared the different opportunities available. They learned about Ag-Mechanics projects, played student-created video games, ate cookies in Culinary Arts, and met Princess the goat...among MANY other things!
We can't wait to see which CTE Pathway these students choose for themselves for next year!
